Born on 1 January 2006, Otto Junior is a blues, funk and soul artist from Norway, known for high-voltage guitar work, tight groove, and a modern blues-rock edge that still honors the tradition. Whether he’s digging into a slow blues with vocal phrasing or pushing a shuffle into full-on rock territory, Otto plays with the confidence of a seasoned bandleader—and the hunger of a young artist building something big.
Fronting Otto Junior Band, he has toured actively across Norway and parts of Europe, including Germany, Sweden, and Denmark, steadily earning a reputation as a compelling live act with both technical firepower and strong stage presence. His shows balance explosive lead playing with songcraft, moving between blues, soul, blues-rock and funk textures—often nodding to the intensity of Stevie Ray Vaughan and the precision-and-speed vocabulary associated with modern guitar heroes, while leaving room for his own originals to carry the set.
Otto’s rise has also put him on stages with major international names. He has shared bills with artists such as Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Little Steven, Josh Smith, Kirk Fletcher, Matt Schofield, Mike Zito and Kid Andersen, experiences that have sharpened his sound and raised his performance bar even higher. He is also part of the Gibson family, and appeared at NAMM 2020 in Anaheim, supporting Slash, Billy Gibbons and Don Felder—a rare milestone for any young European blues guitarist.
In October 2025, Otto Junior takes another step outward, touring with his band in Japan and South Korea, continuing a trajectory that points well beyond Scandinavia. With a fast-growing online presence (YouTube, Instagram, Patreon) and a live show built for festival stages, Otto Junior is an artist to watch—and a name that keeps turning “young talent” into real-world credibility.
