ABOUT THE VINTAGE CARAVAN

The Vintage Caravan is an Icelandic power trio that has earned a global following with their explosive blend of blues-rock, hard rock, and psychedelic rock. Formed in 2006 in Álftanes by guitarist and vocalist Óskar Logi Ágústsson — then just 12 years old — the band has grown from a teenage project into one of Iceland's most successful rock exports. The current lineup features Ágústsson alongside bassist Alexander Örn Númason and drummer Stefán Ari Stefánsson. Together, they have released six studio albums: "The Vintage Caravan" (2011), "Voyage" (2012/2014, Nuclear Blast), "Arrival" (2015), "Gateways" (2018), "Monuments" (2021, Napalm Records), and "Portals" (2025, Napalm Records), plus the live album "The Monuments Tour" (2024). Their sound channels the spirit of 1970s hard rock — Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Cream, Jimi Hendrix — through a raw, high-energy approach that emphasizes live-in-the-room recording with minimal overdubs. Ágústsson's guitar work, rooted in blues improvisation and driven through vintage Marshall amplifiers, gives the band their distinctive grit and authenticity. The Vintage Caravan has toured extensively across Europe, building a devoted fanbase through their incendiary live shows. In 2024, the Reykjavík Blues Society named Ágústsson an honorary member in recognition of the band's blues foundations.
