Two Nights. One Spirit: The Blues.

The II Festival de Blues Benalmádena returns to the stunning Costa del Sol on July 2–3, 2026, bringing two electrifying nights of world-class blues to the Auditorio Municipal de Arroyo de la Miel. After a triumphant debut edition, this festival has quickly established itself as one of Spain's premier blues events.

Night 1 — Thursday, July 2: Traditional Blues

The opening night celebrates the roots and soul of the blues with a lineup anchored by legendary artists:

• John Primer — Chicago blues legend, former sideman to Muddy Waters and Magic Slim, and a living embodiment of the genre's golden era
• Giles Robson — Award-winning British harmonica virtuoso, known for his explosive live performances and deep reverence for traditional blues
• Joaco Viera Band — Dynamic blues ensemble bringing raw energy and authenticity
• Anna Duke — Powerful vocalist channeling classic blues traditions
• Blues Reunión — Local favorites keeping the blues flame burning on the Costa del Sol

Night 2 — Friday, July 3: Electric & Contemporary Blues

The second night shifts gears into high-voltage contemporary blues:

• Ghalia Volt — Belgian-born blues-rock powerhouse whose incendiary guitar work and fierce vocals have taken the international blues scene by storm
• Joaco Viera Band — Returning for a second night of blues excellence
• Anna Duke — Back with more soul-stirring performances
• Blues Reunión — Warming up the crowd once again

Venue & Location

Set in the beautiful Auditorio Municipal de Arroyo de la Miel in Benalmádena, the festival offers an intimate yet world-class setting. The Costa del Sol provides the perfect summer backdrop — combine your blues pilgrimage with sun, sea, and Spanish culture.
