ABOUT THE DEVILS

The Devils are a Copenhagen-based blues rock quartet known for their raw, uncompromising, and high-energy approach to the genre. Heavily inspired by the 1990s LA band The Red Devils, they deliver a sound built on trance-like repetition, filthy grooves, and sweat-soaked intensity.

Lead vocalist and harmonica player Søren Bruun sings through a classic Green Bullet microphone, producing a crackling, transistor-style vocal quality that defines the band's 1950s lo-fi aesthetic. Their influences span Howlin' Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, and Willie Dixon to ZZ Top and Motörhead — a mix of Chicago blues and biker-bar rock that leaves audiences drained.

The Devils have released Electrified blues … no bullshit … (2021) and Goin' to the church (2023), both recorded with a live-in-studio feel that prioritizes tight arrangements over studio polish. They maintain an active touring schedule across Denmark and Europe, and are regulars at Copenhagen's legendary Mojo blues club.

The current lineup: Søren Bruun (vocals, harmonica), Lars Diers (guitar), Christian Balder (bass), and Magnus Søderberg (drums).
