ABOUT ODIN SOKAČ

Odin Sokač (born 2008), performing as Odin S., is a Croatian blues-rock singer-songwriter and guitarist from Zagreb who has taken the international blues world by storm. Since picking up the guitar at age 12, Sokač has written over 30 original songs, performed nearly 50 concerts across Europe and the United States, and earned recognition as one of the most promising young blues talents on the planet. A two-time scholarship recipient from the European Blues Union, Sokač attended Little Steven's Blues School in Notodden, Norway in 2023 and was one of only two Europeans selected for the Pinetop Perkins Foundation Workshop in Clarksdale, Mississippi in 2024 — where he performed at Morgan Freeman's legendary Ground Zero Blues Club. That same year, he represented Croatian blues at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. His debut single, "The Wild West War," was released at age 13 via Dancing Bear Records. Subsequent releases include "Mannerist Blues" (2024), "Diona's Help" (2024), and "Bottom of the Circle" (2026), the latter featuring an appearance by acclaimed actor Rade Šerbedžija in the music video. He has collaborated with producer Fabrizio Grossi (known for his work with Slash and Eric Gales) and musician Matt Pascale. Sokač describes his philosophy as one of authentic emotional expression — believing that music should be a transfer of feeling rather than a technical competition. Drawing from traditional blues while incorporating elements of R&B, indie pop, and funk, he brings an "old soul" sensibility that belies his young age.
